Well, here is my final project as guest designer for the month of September for Gerda Steiner Designs. I had such a blast with these images. Thank you Gerda for having me!! Visit Gerda on her website here http://gerdasteinerdesigns.com/stores. She has lots of cute images. And now for my project. I have used Cute Halloween Witch Flying on Her Broom. I chose to make a scrapbook page and added flowers and embellies and buttons and tags. I had such a fun time with her. I decided since the moon was glowing that she had to have that "glow" appear on her and the rest of her image. I colored her up with my Spectrum Noir markers.

It's Challenge time over at Simply Betty Stamps. This is my entry for the challenge this month and her name is Franken Betty and if you would like one of your own, you can find her here http://simplybstamps.net/item_2372/FrankenBetty-Digi.htm. I decided to make a goodie bag. I cut it from the new Monster Bash cartridge from Cricut. I chose the spider web, since the web wraps around. I wrapped it with Boo! Spooky! ribbon that I purchased at Michael's last Halloween and I added a cute little embellie I got from my Swap partner! Love this!!

Just here to say Hi!!
Here is my newest project as guest designer for Gerdasteinerdesigns.com. He is a cute little hippo who just wants to say "HI". I had a blast coloring him up and putting together this fun little card. I like the final project cause it can be used as a child's card or an adult's card and for any occasion. Take a trip over to www.Gerdasteinerdesigns.com and have a look and you will fall in love with her adorable designs just as I have!!! Thank you again Gerda for the honor of guest designing for the month of September!!
I did some faux stitching along the outside edges to give it some depth and I colored the hippo image with my Spectrum Noir markers. The flower is by Prima Marketing and I put the layers together with some stamen and then I sprayed it with some liquid adhesive and sprinkled some "snow" glitter to give it some sparkle. I cut out the "sun" shape with my cricut and the heart and the background for the hippo and the sentiment are all spellbinders dies. The butterfly ribbon across the bottom I received from a ribbon, fiber and twine swap I was in and it just went so perfectly with this card. Thanks for looking!!

Mercedes the Witch
Here is my entry for the monthly facebook challenge at Simply Betty Stamps. You can find it here http://www.simplybettystamps.blogspot.com/p/halloween-colors-and-anything-goes.html. Our challenge was to use Mercedes on a project. Well, I decided I wanted to make a decoration as you can never have too many decorations now can you? I used my cricut to cut out the Spooky sign, the cloud with lightning bolts and the castle. I doubled up on the chipboard so it would be sturdy. I then covered it with a couple of different core papers and sanded them to give them an aged look. I used a punch for the cats added some tulle and a flower. Oh and I used some black Tim Holtz tinsel for my hanger. I had an awesome time coloring her. She is colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The Spooky sign and the cats I filled in with Martha Stewart glow in the dark glitter, so they glow at night!!! Woooooooooooooooooooooo!

Hello Friend!!!
Here is the 2nd image with my time as Guest designer for www.Gerdasteinderdesigns.com. I just love the cuteness of her. She is titled "Hello Friend". I think anyone would love to receive her. I colored her with my spectrum noir markers. I added some flowers and leaves from Prima Marketing. I used some memory thread for spirals. The center of the flowers are glitter brads that are actually Easter brads but they went so well with them, I decided to use them. I cut the image out with the Spellbinders die titled Leafy Leafs. I just love this die. I then inked the edges with Rain Drops liquid ink. I added a bric-a-brac ribbon and used the heart banner die from La La Land crafts. Another of my favorite dies and of course I inked the edges and cut it twice to give it some depth and pop dotted it. I also placed a lacey doily behind the image and some light green tulle under the flowers to give it some color and some pop. I hope you like this as much as I do. Take a few minutes and go on over to Gerda's site and check out her adorable images. You will fall in love with them too!!!

I am pleased to be chosen to be a guest designer for www.GerdaSteinerdesigns.com for the month of September. Here is my first project. He is called "Wanna Bite". I just love Halloween and I thought he was so adorable. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the image and I used a spellbinders circle die to cut the image and the black circle behind him. I added a ribbon from my stash and of course, what is a vampire without his bats and the moon? So, from my stash, I added some bats, stars and a moon that are glittered. I wanted to keep it simple because the star of the project is the image. I can't wait to show you more. You must visit Gerda's website and check out all of her wonderful images. They are adorable!!! Thank you Gerda for letting me showcase some of your images. I will be posting the rest as I finish them. They all will have special treatment from me and care taken in choosing all the papers and embellies.
